Soft Tissue Laser Periodontal Procedures
With changes in dentistry happening all the time, it is important for a dentist to stay current with the most up to date standard of care. This allows them to treat their patients the best, most predictable way possible with minimal discomfort.
Soft tissue diode lasers are an instrument to perform different procedures on the gingiva (or gums). They allow for better results from non-surgical periodontal disease treatments, frenectomies (removal of traumatic lip and tongue attachments), biopsy and tissue removal as well as a host of other applications.
What does this mean to the patient. Little to no discomfort with minimal or no anesthetic, faster healing times with greatly reduced post operative discomfort, and no sutures.
